Huge success on Read & Feed for FLEX at AMS!!!

Thank you to the school foundation for the $5000 grant for books!!!

The Anamosa Community School Foundation recently approved the request for $5,000 to the Middle School Library for the purchase of new books. The Middle School Library has been able to purchase new, updated books on countries around the world, which many teachers use in their classes. They have been able to purchase many books missing from popular series. They have already seen a tremendous increase in the amount of books being checked out and read. The students at AMS checked out close to 1,000 books in August this year! The excitement for new books and new series are high. They have even been seeing reading scores increase. They look forward to buying many more books that the kids will all love throughout the year. A huge thanks to the Anamosa Community School Foundation for their gift!

Harry Potter trivia display at AMS!

Stephen Amell signed our AMS painting of Arrow!

Jonathan Ribera painted a picture of Arrow for Mrs. Hart and AMS and got Stephen Amell, the star of Arrow, to sign it at the SLC Comic Con!!

Mike Ritland Assembly!

Mike Ritland came to do an assembly at AMS and even signed autographs for over 2 hours. He gave a wonderful assembly and we feel so blessed to have had him come visit. He brought his cpmbat assault dog, Tiigo, too!
