Nov 20 Week Update

A student took one of our books to go see Lois Lowry speak in Iowa City and she signed the book for us!

Our makerspace areas have been super busy and kids are bringing in their own things!

Twilight lunch club played "Scene-it" this week...

Alex Hajeks classes were in all week working on different ways to present what they learned on the Indus valley!  I was excited to see all the different projects going on! Mr. Lane even got a few groups to try the green screen.

I booktalks Navy SEAL dogs and Fantastic beasts and where to find them.  I loved showing all the groups the things you could do with spells on an android and amazon.com

Nov 6 Updates

A few more pumpkins came in!  A total of 66 literary pumpkins were entered and it looked so awesome in the library!

Our makerspace stations continue to be utilized by many students.  I absolutely love seeing the students working together and enjoying the library!
