Harley Davidson Connections

Mrs. Hurkett's class had an awesome experience this week.  For an assignment, each student wrote and sent a formal letter.  One of the students wrote to Harley Davidson in Iowa City and in return, one of the workers (as well as the students' parents) brought their motorcycles to the school and answered questions and revved up the motor bikes!  Later, Mrs. Hurkett was contacted: Mr. McGrath contacted some of the corporate big wigs with Harley, and they would like to do a feature story in the monthly HOG magazine!  Way to go Mrs. Hurkett's class! #LMconnections!
