The Raft
I REALLY liked this book. Its different from the genre's I normally
read, but I loved it. Its about a girl who survives a terrible plane
crash between Hawaii and Midway and her story of finding her way home.
Loved it.

Between Shades of Gray
I
really enjoyed this book even though it was just heart-wrenching! The
author traveled to Lithuania and this story is the compilation of all
the stories of those who survived Stalin and his "cleansing", the same
time WWII happened. I didn't know much about this part of history and I
was very intrigued. It is another one that is well worth the read!

YALSA Teen Book Finder App!
YALSA president Shannon Peterson shared:
"YALSA’s Teen Book Finder is one of my favorite apps. I recommend it to my high school students and I/we often take it to the shelves on our iPhones, iPods or iPads for inspiration connected to YALSA’s recommended titles.
Good news. This week, YALSA launched an updated version of the free app that now includes titles honored by YALSA’s 2013 awards or appearing on its 2013 lists."
