Book Tasting

This year we decided to try something new for 8th grade.  Instead of doing Blind date with a Book, we tried Book Tasting.  The students were at tables "Restaurant Style".  They had to read the excerpt 1st and decide if they would read the book based on that excerpt alone. Then they get to look through the book, look at the cover, read the summaries, etc and then judge from there.  It was super fun!  Thanks 8th grade for helping me try something new!
