"Take your students on a field trip to a rescue farm in Sammamish, Washington, USA to learn about animal rescue and care, or join story time. Diane is a former teacher, author and animal champion who would love to talk to your students about caring for animals at Second Chance Ranch and introduce you to some of her rescued friends! Diane can also read one of her books to the students and answer any questions about the animals, rescue and rehabilitation, or the process of writing books. She will introduce the class to rescued pups, goats, pygmy horses, alpaca and possibly Cowboy the Jersey Steer."
