I have friend
who is heading up a program called, “Iowa4Zimbabwe”. The LDS Church
Humanitarian Department is also supporting their efforts by providing supplies
and shipping the donations to Zimbabwe free of charge!!
The people of Zimbabwe can use just about anything, but here are some ideas: new or gently used clothing, first aid kits, school supplies, flat sheets, blankets, diapers, baby food, gently used strollers, toys, dolls, towels, toothbrushes and other dental hygiene items, sleeping bags, and so on. Items for adults and children are needed.

Starting
this week through September 28, you can drop off any donated items to either of
my libraries. If everyone even brought
in one small item ( a toothbrush, floss, small tube of toothpaste) our district
could donate over 1,000 items! What a
difference it would make for these beautiful people located on the other side
of the world.
Again, no
pressure or push. Just a fun thing to do
for those who would like to be involved.
Thanks!
