Penguin Activity Group

We have connected with a scientist in Antarctica- we get to see daily nest checks, learn about Adelie penguins, and skype live with Jean IN ANTARCTICA in December. Today was our 1st nest check! The 1st penguin has arrived, has built his nest, and waiting patiently for thousands of others to arrive in the coming weeks. He's pretty awesome and Im so excited!!!! 

 Students have also started making their postcards.  We will send them to Antarctica, she will post them at the science station, and then she will return them with the special Antarctica postmark! So cool!

The Book fair is here!

We have so many amazing books!  Each reading classs is coming into the library the next several weeks to see book fair previews.  Every purchase helps us to get new free books for the library!

We will be open before and after school and open all 3 parent conference nights.
